Traffic signals are set to be upgraded at the Boulevard Avenue and Corporation Road junction.
The existing traffic signals will be replaced with upgraded traffic signals that will improve the efficiency of traffic moving through the junction. The layout of the road and the junction will remain the same.
Works will start on Saturday 2 March at 7.30am and are planned to be completed by 6pm on Sunday 3 March.
The existing traffic signals will be turned off while works are completed and temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place for traffic travelling on Boulevard Avenue and Pyewipe Road.
Additionally, a full road closure will be in place on Gilbey Road between Sandford Street and Boulevard Avenue and on Corporation Road between Beeson Street and Boulevard Avenue, to allow the works to be completed safely.
On street parking will generally be maintained during the road closures but there may be short periods of time when this is not possible.
North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by these upgrades.
