Will you become one of North East Lincolnshire’s army of savvy energy switchers?
North East Lincolnshire Council is inviting the borough’s households to join an army of energy switchers by signing up to the latest round of the Big Community Switch.
The scheme offers people the chance to have energy companies bid for your business – each hoping to offer you the lowest energy bill tariff. The process is obligation free and could see you saving a hefty sum.
The latest round is now live and residents have until Monday 8 October to register for the next auction with offers sent from Monday 22 October.
Residents are then given the choice on whether to go with the new provider or stay with their current one. There is no obligation to sign up with the winning bidder, meaning people have nothing to lose by signing up.
You can register online at www.nelincs.gov.uk/HomeEnergy.
Those who do not have access to the internet can seek assistance at their local library or Family Hub. If you are intending to sign up using one of these locations, don’t forget to take along a recent gas and electricity bill.
Family and friends may also be able to reap the benefits, as up to five separate addresses are able to be registered under one email address.
