This Order is made by the North East Lincolnshire Council (“the authority”) under Section 53(3)(c)(iii) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (“the 1981 Act”) because it appears to the Authority that the Definitive Map and Statement for Grimsby Rural District (Now the Borough of Cleethorpes) require modification in consequence of the occurrence of an event specified in Section 53(3)(c)(iii) of the Act namely the that there is no public right of way over land shown in the map and statement as a highway of any description, or any other particulars contained in the map and statement require modification, it is expedient that the line of the path should be extinguished.

BY THIS ORDER

1. For the purpose of this Order the relevant date is 23^rd April 2025.

2. The Definitive Map and Statement for Grimsby Rural District (Now the Borough of Cleethorpes) shall be modified as described in the Schedule and shown on the plan attached to the Order.

3. The Order shall take effect on the date it is confirmed and may be cited as the North East Lincolnshire Council Public Footpath Waltham No 67

Approximately a 98m-long footpath extending in an east north easterly direction from Church Lane, Waltham shown as Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference 526240 403812) to Point B (Ordnance Survey Grid reference 526331 403852) shown on the Order plan by a solid line.
