What is MyNelincs?
MyNelincs is our self-service customer portal, launched in Summer 2023.
MyNelincs is built on world leading cloud based software and offers improved case management and customer updates. Most importantly of all it is secure and very easy to use.
Create a MyNelincs account
MyNelincs requires you to create a new account. To do this yourself you will need an email address.
Read our terms and conditions and create your MyNelincs account now.
Council Tax ‘My Accounts’
Register or log in to view your Council Tax balance online.
How to guides
Before you start, please make sure you have a personal email address as that will be used to create your account.
Login and registration pages
To start go to the MyNelincs login page: MyNelincs
On the bottom of the login page, there is a button called ‘Register for MyNelincs account’. Select the register button to start the account registration process.
You will then need to enter your first name, last name, and email address. When the details have been entered select ‘Next’.
Verify your email and accept terms
Selecting ‘Next’ will lead you to a page that will ask you to check your email inbox for the verification details. The email includes a verification link which will take you to a page asking you to read and accept our terms and conditions.
Select the radio button stating that you agree to the terms and conditions.
After you have accepted the terms and conditions, press next at the bottom right corner of the page.
Creating your password
Next you will need to create a new password for your MyNelincs account. Your chosen password will be used to log into your account. The password must include at least 8 characters, 1 letter and 1 number.
Once you have chosen your password and have typed it in the two boxes, click ‘Change Password’. The password fields must match to be able to continue.
MyNelincs home page
Once you have selected ‘Change Password’ you will be signed in to your MyNelincs account and redirected to the portal home page where you can find all of our online forms.
The next time you would like to complete a form you can go directly to the form which will prompt you to log in or you can login via the My Account area.
Log in or register
Log into your MyNelincs account or register for a MyNelincs account (please see how to guides for account set up support):
My Council Tax tab
Once in your account, you will see the ‘My Council Tax’ tab along the top next to My Cases.
Verification
Select ‘My Council Tab’ and you will be directed to the Council Tax verification page where you will enter your Council Tax information – Council tax reference from your bill, full name (without middle names), and postcode of the property:
Click submit details button.
If your details are incorrect you will see the below screen:
If your details are successfully verified you will see this screen and can click finish:
View your account information
You will be redirected to the verification page but will now see your council tax reference under ‘Available Accounts’:
Click on your council tax reference number to view your account details – summary, payments and adjustments.
You can add multiple Council Tax accounts, all you need to do is go back to step 2 and enter your other property information.
