Events, tourism and leisure

It’s been a fantastic start to this year’s Cleethorpes Seasonal Outdoor Market, with traders bringing everything from handmade gifts and fashion to fresh produce, unique finds, and of course, beautiful flowers and plants.

From next week, the market is making an exciting move to a brand-new location at the Boating Lake Car Park (near the leisure centre off Kings Road), while development works take place at the Market Place. The relocation means the much-valued market can continue to thrive as investment in the town progresses.

And there are plenty of reasons to visit the new spot:

  • Convenient parking – right next to the market
  • Perfect setting – by the boating lake and coastal path
  • A great day out – shop, walk, and enjoy the coast all in one visit
  • Easier to find – with strong visibility from a main road and bus route
  • Close to shops and holiday parks – attracting even more visitors

Whilst the location may be new, visitors can expect the same welcoming atmosphere from a fantastic range or traders! Organisers are encouraging everyone to come along, explore the new setting, and make it part of a perfect seaside day out.

The postcode for the new location is DN35 0AH, and you can also find the location on What 3 Words, using ‘each.clock.prove’.

The market will continue to run every Wednesday and Saturday 9am – 3pm (weather permitting) in the new location from Wednesday 20 May to Wednesday 30 September.

Stay up to date, discover traders, and check for weather updates by following Cleethorpes Outdoor Market NELC on Facebook and Cleethorpes Outdoor Market on Instagram.
