A devolution deal for Greater Lincolnshire has been announced in the Autumn statement, which could see existing money and power move from central government to local decisionmakers.
All three Full Councils voted to accept the proposal at their meetings in March and Government will now further consider formal approval. This next step towards the forming of an MCCA, (Mayoral Combined County Authority), for Greater Lincolnshire comes following the public consultation, which started in late December last year and ran through until January 2024.
