New campaign banners promoting fostering across North East Lincolnshire have been unveiled at Pennells Garden Centre as part of an ongoing partnership between the local business and Fostering NEL.
The eye-catching displays, both inside the garden centre and outside the site, aim to raise awareness of fostering while highlighting the successful Grow With Me initiative, which brings together foster families, kinship carers and children through hands-on gardening experiences.
The latest campaign marks another milestone in the growing partnership between Fostering NEL and Pennells, helping to spread the message about the urgent need for more local foster carers while showcasing the support available to families.
As part of the Grow With Me initiative, foster carers, kinship carers and the children they care for are invited to take part in practical gardening activities that encourage creativity, confidence and connection.
Earlier this year, children thoroughly enjoyed getting their hands muddy, while learning new skills and nurturing something new alongside their carers.
Andy Thompson, supervisor at Pennells Garden Centre, said Grow With Me has been a great success.
He said: “Pennells is really pleased to support this initiative. We wish Fostering NEL all the best with this campaign and are delighted to continue working together through the Grow With Me project. It’s a fantastic way of bringing people together while helping raise awareness of the need for more foster carers in our community.”
