The Immingham, Habrough & Stallingborough Pride in Place Board has thanked its Chair, Andy Hopkins, for his leadership and dedication in helping to establish the foundations for the area’s ambitious regeneration programme.
Andy has stepped down from his role on the Board after playing a key part in bringing partners together and supporting the early development of the Government’s Pride in Place Programme. Recruitment for a new Chair will begin shortly.
The programme, which has recently expanded to include Stallingborough alongside Immingham and Habrough, is designed to create a stronger, more connected approach to regeneration, investment and opportunity across the wider area.
Backed by £20-million of Government funding over the next 10 years, the initiative will support projects that reflect the priorities of local people, businesses and community organisations. Residents are currently being encouraged to share their views and help shape the future of their communities.
