North East Lincolnshire Council provides a wide range of services that support residents, businesses and communities every day. From caring for vulnerable adults and children, maintaining roads and public spaces, supporting economic growth and protecting the environment, to helping people live healthy, safe and independent lives, our work touches every part of life in North East Lincolnshire.
Like councils across the country, we face increasing financial pressures. Demand for services, particularly adult social care and children’s services, continues to grow, while the cost of delivering services has increased significantly in recent years. This means we must make careful decisions to ensure we continue to provide the services residents rely on while making the best use of the funding available.
As we plan for the next three years, we want to understand what matters most to the people who live, work and study in our area.
Your Budget. Your Choices. is a short, interactive survey that gives you the opportunity to explore how council funding supports local services, consider different priorities, and tell us where you would like to see focus and investment in the future.
There are no right or wrong answers and you do not need any knowledge of council finance to take part. We simply want to hear your views, understand your priorities and learn what is most important to you.
The survey takes around 5 minutes to complete, and every response will help inform future planning and decision-making. Feedback will be considered alongside the Council’s statutory responsibilities, service demand, available funding and agreed priorities to help shape future plans and investments.
