There will be full overnight closures on A180 Alexandra Dock Bridge in Grimsby this week to complete the resurfacing and anti-skid coatings at the end of the road next to Lockhill and Westgate roundabouts.
The closures are planned for Wednesday 7 Oct and Thursday 8 Oct, with a contingency of Friday 9 October as well, depending on progress and weather.
There will be no access across the bridge during the closures, and traffic that normally uses Alexandra Dock bridge will be diverted through the centre of Grimsby between the roundabouts.
The long contraflow currently in place that moves eastbound traffic onto the westbound carriageway will change during one of the overnight closures to once again become a shorter contraflow to complete the expansion joints on the westbound carriageway. Please observe all traffic management in place.
The closures will be from 8pm at night until 5am in the morning, but will be reopened as soon as work for the night is completed.
