Young people and families across North East Lincolnshire are being encouraged to get involved in a packed programme of creative activities this half-term and play a vital role in shaping Grimsby’s bid to become UK Town of Culture 2028.
As part of the GY28 campaign, the Children’s Town Hall at Our Big Picture on Bethlehem Street will be transformed into a creative hub where children and young people can share their ideas, dreams and ambitions for the future of Grimsby.
From storytelling and pottery to creative workshops with local artists, there are plenty of opportunities for young people to have their voices heard while enjoying free, hands-on activities throughout the school holidays.
The programme aims to put children and young people at the heart of the GY28 vision, ensuring the town’s future cultural ambitions reflect the hopes, creativity and imagination of its next generation.
Most consultation sessions are free and drop-in, with no booking required. Workshop places can be booked online in advance at: www.GY28.co.uk
