Work will soon begin to install eight new Real Time Information (RTI) displays at additional locations in North East Lincolnshire following engagement with residents.

The works will be done on a rolling programme from Monday 10 August along Scartho Road and Cromwell Road, Grimsby. All locations will be complete by Friday 21 August.

The RTI screens provide bus passengers with the latest journey information, advising on when they can expect their next bus to arrive, with the aim to improve information provided at bus stops and make public transport more accessible.

Works are scheduled to take 10 days to complete. To avoid disruption to residents and keep the workforce safe, localised traffic management (cones and barriers) will be in place on the footpath. There will be no impact to the highway network.

The project will be managed and overseen by the council’s regeneration partner, ENGIE, with McCann Ltd installing the fixtures, and R2P connecting the screens.

Although every effort will be made to minimise disruption throughout the works, some elements can be noisy. The council, ENGIE and McCann Ltd would like to apologise in advance for any disturbance.

Letters are being sent to nearby residents. However, if you require more information, please contact the team on (01472) 325670.
