Business and investment

Businesses in North East Lincolnshire have been given more time to apply for free rapid lateral flow coronavirus home test kits for their employees.

The application process, which originally planned to close at the end of March, has seen it’s deadline extended to 11:59pm on Monday 12 April.

Local businesses are encouraged to take up the offer of free workplace home testing kits to help reduce the spread of the virus and allow people to self-isolate more quickly if they test positive.

The tests provide a result within about 30 minutes, and can detect the virus in people who have no symptoms (asymptomatic).

You can register to order tests if:

  • your business is registered in England
  • your employees cannot work from home
  • you have more than 10 employees

If your business is closed or you cannot provide tests now, you should still register so you can order tests in the future.
