General

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, will be carrying out road marking works on Butt Lane, between Blyth Way and Mulberry Lane, next month.

The works are required to improve road safety following the recent completion and review of resurfacing works in this area.

Works will be taking place on Friday 13 August, between 7pm and 6am, and will take one night to complete. To ensure the safety of the contractors on site, a night-time road closure will be in place between Blyth Way and Mulberry Lane.

Access for the allotments and residents within the closure area will be maintained via Mulberry Lane only. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the works.

Advanced warning signs and a signed diversion route will be in place during the closure.

The programme is subject to change as the works are weather dependent.

The works will be managed and overseen by the council’s partner, ENGIE, with contractor Specialist Surfacing Ltd, carrying out the works.

The council, ENGIE, and Specialist Surfacing Ltd would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the works.
