Energy and water consumption and carbon emissions

The tables below show the amount used and the cost of gas, water and electricity supplied to NELC’s buildings.

The carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions due to these supplies are also shown.

The previous 12 months usage is compared to a baseline which is the average across the years 2017-2019. Changes against the baseline are shown as %.

This baseline is pre-Covid-19 and uses the average of 2017-2019 figures. Much activity has taken place since then to upgrade the energy efficiency of our buildings, through the Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire programme, and the Salix Public Sector Decarbonisation programme, in addition to our ongoing asset management programmes. SEGL was funded through ERDF and Salix loans
