Bins, waste and recycling

North East Lincolnshire Council is looking for suggestions for places to feature on new artwork for its fleet of bin lorries.

The Council would like to hear about places from different neighbourhoods to show the area at its best.

The Council is especially keen to hear about locations in the following wards:

  • Freshney (including Great Coates, the Willows and Wybers Wood)
  • Haverstoe
  • Humberston and New Waltham
  • Scartho
  • South (including Grange and Nunsthorpe)
  • Waltham (including Waltham, Brigsley and Ashby cum Fenby)
  • Yarborough

Email your suggestions to [email protected] by 5pm on Friday 10 September.

Please put ‘Location suggestions’ in the subject header and include as many details as possible to explain where it is, including a photo if that helps.

Cllr Stewart Swinburn, portfolio holder for Environment and Transport at North East Lincolnshire Council, said:

“We’re keen to hear your suggestions for locations to feature in new artwork for our waste and recycling vehicles as well as posters and other campaign materials.

“We want your ideas for places you are fond of and show the borough at its best.

“It can be anything from a housing estate or village to a park or green open space.

“Please include plenty of details to explain the location you’d like us to consider.”
