General

Work to assess the condition of bridges on the A180 will take place this month.

Investigations will be carried out between Monday 13 December and Saturday 18 December.

An overnight lane closure will be in place between 7pm and 6am, with temporary traffic lights in place during this time.

Engineers will inspect the condition of the following bridges between the A180 Pyewipe roundabout and Riby Square junction: Gilbey Road Viaduct, Alexandra Dock Bridge and Cleethorpe Road Flyover. Results from the work will help identify any repairs needed.

Highway engineers will use the opportunity to carry out general maintenance, such as cleaning gullies, cutting grass, litter picking and minor repairs.

Public transport will not be affected and motorists can still reach their destinations without the need for diversions.
