Do you crave long walks on golden beaches and a beautiful sea view, relaxing on the sand to the sound of the waves? Look no further!

North East Lincolnshire Council’s children’s services are seeking to recruit a practice improvement practitioner to nurture their newest social workers, based in the picturesque Victorian seaside resort of Cleethorpes.

The main offices are just a stone’s throw from sandy beaches, offering lovely lunchtime walks and beautiful office views.

A social worker with at least four years post-qualifying experience, applicants should also be confident in practicing within the Signs of Safety Framework and be keen to help develop the next generation of social workers.

Councillor Margaret Cracknell, portfolio holder for children and education at North East Lincolnshire Council, said:

“Children and families are at the heart of everything we do, and we’ve been doing a lot of work to really nurture and empower our newly qualified social workers as they begin their social work career.

“As part of this, we’ve created a team of practice improvement practitioners to really help our new social workers to hone their practice.

“This team will really set the standard for our new and future social workers.

“I’d encourage anyone interested in applying for the role to get in touch with the team to find out more.”
