School curriculum and assessments

North East Lincolnshire Council has responsibility for all statutory assessment duties regarding KS1 and KS2 assessment and moderation.

These duties include:

  • Monitoring of Y1/Y2 Phonics and Y6 SATs
  • Moderation of Y6 end of Key Stage Assessments (SATs)
  • Offering statutory assessment training at KS2 to all maintained schools and academies
  • Offering on-going support and advice on all aspects of KS1 and KS2 assessment and moderation arrangements to all maintained schools and academies
