As part of North East Lincolnshire Council’s pledge to develop the local infrastructure for Electric Vehicles (EV), the council and its delivery partners Equans, want to hear your ideas about where charge points should be installed across the borough.

These suggestions will help to determine where public charge points are needed the most, and will be put alongside other considerations, like public safety, suitability of location before a final decision is made as to where they are located.

Suggestions can be submitted at online or by calling the customer services team on 01472 326290 option 3 (transport).

Anthony Snell, Traffic and Transport Manager at Equans, said “We want to try to make sure that EV charge points are installed in locations where they will have most impact.

“It’s great to see EV becoming more important in the local area, and by installing more charge points we hope this encourages people to switch to an electric vehicle which is better for the environment.”
