This week the much-loved Cobblers and Keys on Grimsby Top Town Market is under new ownership!
The business has been a key part of the market family for an amazing 21 years, providing the town with a central place for customers to get keys cut, get their watch batteries replaced and buy personalised gifts all in one place.
The previous owners Dawn and Nick have now made the decision to hang up their keys for good and semi-retire.
Don’t worry though …. The new owner is a familiar face to all loyal customers! Sue Wales has worked as the manager of Cobblers and Keys for the past 14 years and will continue as the new owner.
The stall is now called The Watch, Key and Gifts Hub. Sue will still be offering the same key cutting services, watch repairs and has plenty of gifts that can be personalised in time for Christmas!
In an interview ahead of small business Saturday, Sue said; ‘I’ve always loved working for a small business, I love the individuality, meeting different people and getting to chat with regular customers. We do a proper job, at a proper price.’
