A TWO-night road closure is being put into place on the A1173 near Immingham as final resurfacing works take place near the area’s new business park.

With the construction of the headquarters of green energy firm myenergi nearing completion, access from the new roundabout to the building and new business park requires permanent surfacing.

This will take place, along with some additional work to another section of the carriageway, with an overnight road closure from 6.30pm until 5.30am on the nights of Thursday 4 March and Friday 5 March.

Temporary diversions will take vehicles via the Brocklesby Interchange.

As reported, major improvements to the A1173, including the new roundabout, were completed on schedule before Christmas as part of the major SHIIP (South Humber Industrial Investment Programme) project.
