Works to Cleethorpe Road Bridge have been going well, with the work to the deck of the eastbound carriageway now complete.
The bridge, between Lockhill Roundabout and Riby Square will be completely closed overnight from 8pm tonight, Thursday 27 June to 6am Friday 28 June.
This is to temporarily remove the contraflow on the bridge and allow freeflowing traffic over the weekend to help with the traffic management for the Armed Forces Weekend in Cleethorpes.
The contraflow will be reinstalled on the night of Monday 1 to Tuesday 2 July.
This will require a complete closure from 8pm on Monday 1 July to 6am on Tuesday 2 July. From the Tuesday morning, traffic will be funnelled into the contraflow, this time on the eastbound carriageway, with the approach roads from each side reducing to a single carriageway to filter into the contraflow. The works can then carry on to the deck on the westbound carriageway.
Diversions will remain in place around the works.
