Abbey Walk Car Park lighting issues

4:03 pm, Wednesday, 9th November 2022 - 1 year ago

General

The lights in the stairwell of Abbey Walk Car Park are currently not operational. As a result of this, there will be security in the stairwell to escort people up and down the stairs from 4pm today (Wednesday 9 November) until the car park closes.

Cars on the ground floor are unaffected as the lighting on each of the car park levels themselves are still fully operational and lit.

Electricians will be on site to fix the lights from 8am tomorrow (Thursday 10 November) and these will be working afterwards. However, if you are entering the car park between 5.30am and 8am tomorrow, please park on the ground floor of the car park only as the door to the stairwell will not be open for you to access on any of the other floors.

More investigation works are to come following this.
