The Armed Forces Day flags are due to be raised on Monday (22 June) ahead of a weekend of planned celebrations for Armed Forces Day.

Organised by the Armed Forces Major Events Team, the flag will be raised in Cleethorpes at the Knoll at the top of Knoll St, to mark the occasion at 11am. The service will be attended by people from across the armed forces community, veterans and the standards from lots of different armed forces organisations.

Residents are encouraged to attend the flag raising ceremony and show their support for the armed forces community at one of the events.
