Work is underway on the regeneration of three key areas of Cleethorpes: Pier Gardens, and the former Waves site, located on the corner of Sea Road and the Promenade, adjacent to Pier Gardens. The third project, Market Place, is due to start in the coming months.
As a result of these projects, the current coach pick up and drop off stop on Sea Road (Stand C) will be suspended for the duration of the project. New hoarding around the Sea Road site will be installed by the contractors in April, which will also lead to footpath diversions in the area.
To support local bus and coach operators, some parking on Alexandra Road will be suspended to make space for local bus services and coaches.
Locally, the Stagecoach Number 17 bus will not stop on Sea Road, but at the temporary stop on Alexandra Road.
A temporary coach bay will be installed on Alexandra Road, Cleethorpes, opposite Albert Road. This temporary bay will be for pick up and drop off purposes only and will be clearly marked and signed as a coach only stop. Grant Street car park will remain available for coach parking.
Information regarding where passengers can access the coach stops will be clearly displayed around Sea Road and Alexandra Road.
The temporary bus stop will be available to use from Friday 3 April 2026 and will remain in place for the duration of the regeneration projects.
