Ever wanted to know what local events and activities are going on in your area? Or what our amazing local organisations are doing in North East Lincolnshire? Well, Community Spotlight is the place to go.

Showcasing some of the unsung heroes of North East Lincolnshire, you can find out about their groups, clubs, events and just some of the good work being done in the borough.

The Community Spotlight ‘What’s On’ Calendar is home to a large variety of events, activities and groups to suit so many tastes and interests.

If you’re looking for something different to do with your children, there are activities ranging from the Community Wednesday events at West Marsh Community Centre to a variety of active sessions at The Trin Centre in Cleethorpes.

For the over 60s, why not try Culture Club with Friendship at Home at the Civic Centre in Immingham, where attendees will enjoy a chat, a cuppa and get useful information from a range of different speakers. Or you could try the Bizzie Fingers Sewing with the Crescent Community Hub for some crafting time, to name just a couple of activities on offer.

On top of this, you can currently learn about how to access books if you struggle to get to your local library with the wonderful Home Library Service, which is currently featured ‘In The Spotlight’ on the page.

Additionally, for local organisations and groups wanting help, the page offers a range of links to local advice and support organisations to help direct any query you may have.

Whether you‘re someone looking for something new to do or a group to join; or if you’re a local organisation looking to promote who you are and what you do, Community Spotlight is the place for you.
