People in North East Lincolnshire can sign up for email updates about COVID-19 and its impact locally.

North East Lincolnshire Council has been posting regular updates to its website and social media accounts in light of the latest national lockdown restrictions which came into force on Thursday 5 November.

People can sign up to have updates sent to them directly by registering at www.nelincs.gov.uk/COVID-19-notifications.

The updates will include disruption to services run by the council and its partners, advice from the NHS and central government and other warning and informing messages.

Councillor Philip Jackson, Leader of North East Lincolnshire Council, said:

“With national restrictions now in place, it’s important for people to be able to keep up to date with updates, information, advice and changes to services in North East Lincolnshire.

“By signing up for these email alerts, residents can have updates sent directly to their inbox, so they get the most up-to-date information from the council.

“It’s vital that we all take on board the advice from the NHS and the government and play our part to reduce the spread of the virus.”
