Residents are being advised of upcoming drainage repair works on Waithe Lane in Brigsley.

The damage was identified during maintenance works that were carried out in early April. Due to the narrow width of the rural road, a full road closure will be required while repairs take place.

While the closure is in place, a signed diversion will be in operation via Ashby cum Fenby village. No through traffic will be permitted.

The works will take place outside The Blackbirds, near the Church Lane junction, and are scheduled to begin on Wednesday 13 May. They are expected to be completed within two days, weather permitting.

Residents and motorists are thanked in advance for their patience while these essential repairs are carried out.
