Emergency highway works on A18

General

Works to make a collapsed ditch on the A18 safe will be taking place overnight on Thursday 15 October.

These works, next to the cycleway between the Waltham Road and Beelsby junctions, are essential to prevent the potential collapse of the nearby cycleway due to the weakened ditch.  The collapse is not related to the ongoing road safety improvement scheme on the A18.

To allow these works to be carried out, temporary three-way traffic signals will be in place at the Waltham Road junction between 6pm and midnight on Thursday 15 October.

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, would like to apologise for any inconvenience but have co-ordinated the works to take place at a time of minimal disruption for residents and businesses.
