THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(2) KILN LANE LEVEL CROSSING – KILN LANE, STALLINGBOROUGH
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRN 22-194E) EMERGENCY NOTICE 2023
WHEREAS the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 hereby make the following Emergency Notice the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
KILN LANE – Part length, from its roundabout junction with HOBSON WAY / LAPORTE ROAD to a point 20 metres south-west of KILN LANE LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route: LAPORTE ROAD, QUEENS ROAD, KINGS ROAD, A1173, KILN LANE (reverse route applies)
This emergency prohibition is required to enable Network Rail to safely undertake a repair of damage to rail line using Road Rail Vehicle (RRV) and plant.
Closures will be implemented daily between 08:00hrs and 15:00hrs.
There are no exemptions to the Order on the grounds of safety.
The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply in the interpretation of the Notice as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
The Notice shall come into operation on Monday, 13 February 2023 and shall continue for a period of 21 days unless extended by Order of the Secretary of State for Transport. The closure is expected to remain in place until Monday, 17 February 2023.
