Essential highway drainage repairs will be carried out on Granville Street, Grimsby, to help reduce the risk of flooding.

The work will take place between Heneage Road and Hainton Avenue from Monday 17 August and is expected to take five days to complete.

To allow the repairs to be carried out safely, a full road closure will be in place for the duration of the works. A diversion route will be available via Hainton Avenue, Welholme Road and Heneage Road.

While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, some parts of the work may be noisy.

The council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents and road users for their patience while these essential repairs are completed as quickly and safely as possible.
