Essential road maintenance works to begin in Immingham

North East Lincolnshire Council will be carrying out improvement works to Kings Road and Pelham Road in Immingham. The upcoming works will include replacement of existing damaged road edge channels and kerbs, carriageway patching, and road markings.
 
These works will begin on Monday 10 November and are programmed to be completed on Saturday 15 November (weather permitting).
 
Details of the works are details below:
 
Location 1 – Kings Road between Pelham Road and A1173 Kings Road Roundabout, Immingham.
 
The works will be carried out in 2 phases:
 
Phase 1 – Kerbing and drainage works (Monday 10 November – Wednesday 12 November)
 
The first phase of the work will include replacement of existing damaged channel and kerbs.
 
The work will be carried out under the temporary traffic signals between 9:30am and 3:30pm.
 
Phase 2 – Carriageway resurfacing and road markings (Wednesday 12 November – Saturday 15 November)
 
The second phase of works will include carriageway patching and road markings and will be carried out under a full nighttime road closure between 7.00pm and 4.00am.
 
Location 2 – Pelham Road between Washdyke Lane and Worsley Road, Immingham (Thursday 13 November – Friday 14 November)
 
These works will include carriageway patching and road markings and will be carried out under a full nighttime road closure between 9pm and 4am. Please support the contractor by not parking vehicles on the road or footpath to ensure a safe working area can be maintained and avoid delaying the work programme.
 
During the night closures, the local bus services will be affected. Information about the bus diversion routes can be found on Stagecoach’s website:

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the works.
 
The council and contractor Specialist Surfacing Ltd would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience and assure that the work will be completed as quickly and safely as possible.
 
Other works around the Immingham area to be aware of:
 
South Marsh Road (North Moss Lane to Ephams Lane) – North East Lincolnshire Council will carry out carriageway resurfacing and road marking works from Monday 3 November to Saturday 15 November. Works will be completed under a road closure from 7:00pm to 6:00am and traffic signals from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
 
Network Rail works:
– Station Road, Stallingborough – Stallingborough Level Crossing works under an overnight road closure on Saturday 15 November from 10:00pm to 9:00am.
– South Marsh Lane – Level crossing uplift under a road closure with pedestrian marshalling on Wednesday 12 November between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
– Kiln Lane – Maintenance works at Kiln Lane Level Crossing under a road closure from Monday 10 to Friday 14 November with pedestrian marshalling between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
