North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, EQUANS, are calling on residents who are without central heating and reliant on a gas/coal fire or electric heating to contact the Home Energy Team.

Homeowners in receipt of means tested benefits, on a low income, struggling with heating costs or vulnerable to the cold could all be eligible for fully funded first time central heating installation with the support of the scheme.

Councillor Callum Procter, portfolio holder for housing at North East Lincolnshire Council, said: “We secured this funding to support local people and whilst households have already benefited from the funding, it is vital we maximise the funding secured and deliver as many installations as possible with the remaining funding.

“If you could benefit from the funding or know someone that you think is eligible, make sure to get in touch with the team as soon as you can.”

The Home Energy Team are part of Lincs 4 Warmer Homes, a partnership of local authorities across Lincolnshire offering energy efficiency improvements and advice.
