Wondering what’s out there for your young adult? Come down to the Parents’ Careers Evening and talk to a range of providers including local colleges and businesses.
There will also be a number of employers from the renewable and construction industries such as the RAF, Orsted and Phillips 66. In total, there will be over 25 local employers at the event, held at the Humber Royal Hotel on Littlecoates Road, Grimsby, on Wednesday 17 April.
The event will be held from 4pm to 7pm with those looking to attend needing to book their spot by emailing [email protected]. Carers, parents, guardians and children are all encouraged to come along.
There will also be a guest speaker in attendance. Corrine Barry from RWE, a Grimsby based renewable company, will be giving a talk on her career and the future of NetZero from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
Additionally, there will be a Q&A sessions with an expert panel to talk about student finance, UCAS and apprenticeships from 5pm to 6pm.
Throughout the evening there will be free refreshments available for those attending. People are reminded that roadworks will also be in place along parts of Littlecoates Road from Brockelsby Road to Bradley Crossroads Roundabout, which may lead to delays.
