Help shape how adult learning is promoted in North East Lincolnshire

North East Lincolnshire Council is inviting residents aged 19 and over to take part in an online survey to help improve how adult learning and skills opportunities are promoted across the borough.

Working with local training providers, the Council wants to better understand how people prefer to receive information about the wide range of adult education options available – from short courses and workshops to qualifications that support employment or career changes.

Many of these opportunities are fully or partially funded, making them accessible to most people. However, not everyone is aware of what’s on offer. The survey aims to gather insights on how residents currently find out about learning opportunities, which channels they use, and what might encourage them to get involved.

Feedback will be used to shape future communications, helping the Council and its partners better target advertising and outreach so more people can benefit.

The survey is open now and will close on Friday 18 July 2025. It only takes a few minutes to complete and is available online: Skills Strategy Survey 2025.

Anyone with questions, or who would prefer to give their views in person or request a paper copy, can email [email protected] or visit the Adult Learning Team at Freshney Place, outside Bakers and Baristas, on Wednesday 18 June, between 8:30am and 5pm.
