Independent Remuneration Panel Vacancies

3:35 pm, Thursday, 18th December 2025 - 5 months ago

General

The Independent Remuneration Panel at North East Lincolnshire Council plays a vital role in supporting transparent and fair decision-making.

Every four years it reviews the amounts paid to Councillors, considering evidence and making recommendations to the Council on a scheme of allowances.

The Council is now looking to appoint two new members for the Panel.

The panel typically meets 4–5 times during a review period, with additional meetings if required, and the people appointed will have to commit to being available for these meetings.

If you have an interest in Local Government, and the work of the Council and could spare time to support local democracy, then this position might be for you.

Applications for the role close on 9 January 2026.
