North East Lincolnshire

We’re different in North East Lincolnshire. It’s a place where people roll up their sleeves and get things done.

From grassroots community volunteers to friendly, independent businesses, the first things that strike you about the place are its strong sense of community and a drive to make life better.

People who move here say they love it because it gives them space to think and everyone lives near the beach.

On top of that, schools are excellent and house prices are low – you can buy a detached, four-bedroom family home for less than £300,000.

Founded by Vikings, Great Grimsby has a rich seafaring heritage and is now a global leader in offshore wind.

Nearby Cleethorpes is one of the best resorts on England’s east coast and an internationally important site for wildlife, with one of the largest national nature reserves in the country on its shoreline.

You’ll see lots of building work happening in Grimsby town centre and Cleethorpes seafront, this is part of a radical, multi-million-pound transformation that includes a new cinema, market hall, retail and restaurants as well as green public spaces, sustainable housing and public art.
