Overnight works at Toll Bar roundabout

1:00 pm, Thursday, 22nd October 2020 - 4 years ago

General
  • Planned overnight works on the A16/B1219 ‘Toll Bar’ roundabout improvement scheme for two nights.

As works continue on the “Toll Bar” roundabout to divert essential utilities cables, there will be overnight works undertaken on two days this month.

The work has been planned to take place overnight to minimise the impact of the required traffic management, as traffic lights will be required on the A16 carriageway to the south of Toll Bar during this time.

Carrying out the works overnight will also keep the main programme on schedule.

The work will be carried out overnight from 7pm on Friday 23 and Friday 30 of October. It is anticipated the work will be completed by midnight but it may finish later.

Noise and disruption will be kept to a minimum but due to the work required there may be some noise created. The activity that will generate the most noise will be carried out earlier in the evening to minimise any disruption.

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner ENGIE apologise for the inconvenience caused.
