ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

BOUNDARY ROAD, BRIAR LANE, BULWICK AVENUE, CHURCH LANE, CROSS LANE, EAST END CLOSE, FAIRFEILD AVENUE, FALLOWFIELD ROAD, GATE LANE, KIDDIER AVENUE, MORDAUNT AVENUE, PINFOLD LANE, RIVAN AVENUE, RYDAL AVENUE, SPURN AVENUE, WALKER AVENUE, WALESBY CLOSE, WOODROW PARK, SCARTHO, GRIMSBY

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-070SC) ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:

  • BOUNDARY ROAD – Part Length form its junction with TOTNES ROAD in an Easterly direction to its cul de sac end.

  • BRIAR LANE – its Full Length from its junction with SAGEFIELD CLOSE to its junction with MAYFIELD CLOSE

  • BULWICK AVENUE – its Full Length from its junction with FAIRFIELD ROAD to its junction with BOUNDARY ROAD

No alternative route.

  • CHURCH LANE – its Full Length from its junction with A1243 LOUTH ROAD to its junction with St GILES AVENUE.

No alternative route.

  • CROSS LANE – its Full Length from its junction with PINFOLD LANE to its junction with A1243 LOUTH ROAD

No alternative route.

  • EAST END CLOSE – its Full Length from its junction with GRANTHAM AVENUE to its junction with PERMAIN CLOSE

No alternative route.

  • FAIRFIELD AVENUE – its Full Length from its junction with FAIRFIELD ROAD to its cul de sac end

No alternative route.

  • FALLOWFIELD ROAD – its Full Length from its junction with SPRINGFIELD ROAD to its cul de sac end

  • GATE LANE – its Full Length from its junction with WALTHAM ROAD to its junction with PINFOLD LANE

  • KIDDIER AVENUE – its Full Length from its junction with WINDERMERE AVENUE to its junction with WINDMERE AVENUE

  • MORDAUNT AVENUE – its Full Length from its junction with WINDERMERE AVENUE to its junction with RYDAL AVENUE

  • WOODROW PARK – its Full Length from its junction with CHURCH LANE to its cul de sac end.

This temporary prohibition is required in order to maintain public safety whilst North East Lincolnshire Council safely undertake works to surface dress the carriageway.

The Order will come into operation on Monday, 03 August 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure will be place for the duration of the programmed works until Sunday, 16 August 2020. On site Advanced Warnings Signs detailing exact dates and times will be displayed.
