ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
SEA VIEW STREET AND NEW ROAD, CLEETHORPES
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-090E) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle, from proceeding along the below sections of highway:
- SEA VIEW STREET – From its junction with CAMBRIDGE STREET in a Westerly direction to its junction with THE PLAZA, Car Park (a distance of 115 metres)
- NEW ROAD – From its junction with SEA VIEW STREET to its junction with KNOLL STREET (full length)
Access for Emergency Vehicles and to premises will be maintained. An alternative route for motor vehicles is that of CAMBRIDGE STREET, ST PETERS AVENUE, HIGH STREET, ALEXANDRA ROAD
This temporary prohibition is required in order to support coronavirus social distancing measures.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 15 June 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport. The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday 11 October 2020.
