North East Lincolnshire Council and its delivery partner, Equans, are carrying out remedial works at the Cambridge Road and Chelmsford Avenue junction. The works involve correcting failed surfacing on the roundabout.
The works will take place on Tuesday 22 August and will be completed in one night. To allow them to be carried out, and ensure the safety of the contractors, a nighttime road closure will be in place between 7pm and 6am.
Please be aware that during the works, on-street parking in the area will be temporarily suspended.
Please support the contractor by not parking vehicles on the carriageway, footpath or verge to ensure a safe working area can be maintained and avoid delaying the programme, which will result in additional nights of road closures to complete the works.
Please allow extra time for your journeys and, where possible, please use alternative routes to avoid possible delays.
The council, Equans and contractor EC Surfacing Ltd would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience and assure you that the work will be completed as quickly and safely as possible.
