Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire
Smart Energy, Greater Lincolnshire is a new project created after North East Lincolnshire Council has been awarded £9.2million from European Union, European Regional Develop Fund (ERDF).
The project aim is to promote, innovate and adopt energy efficiency and renewable energy.
£5.4m of the funding from the ERDF is to boost renewable energy use in SMEs, council and other public sector owned buildings in the area.
Along with private sector investment, the funding will set up a one stop shop to provide energy and low carbon services for SMEs as well as facilitating large scale investment in public infrastructure.
Smart Energy, Greater Lincolnshire started at the beginning of April 2018 and will be delivered over the next three years; so do keep checking back for updates.
