Road testing works will be taking place at various locations across North East Lincolnshire.
Testing will take place from Monday 14 December, on a rolling programme, with all locations completed within five days.
To limit the impact and allow the works to be carried out safely, localised traffic management (stop and go boards / cones and barriers) will be in place at each location for a short period of time between 7:30am and 6pm. As an additional safety measure, temporary two-way traffic lights may be in place at some locations as testing is carried out.
The work involves a series of road testing holes and core sampling to determine the condition of the road, allowing for the planning of future maintenance and repairs.
Testing will take place at the following locations:
Cleethorpes
Taylor’s Avenue
Immingham
Manby Road
B1210 Stallingborough Road
Grimsby
Bargate
The works will be managed and overseen by North East Lincolnshire Council’s regeneration partner, ENGIE, with contractor National Testing completing the works.
