SCARTHO residents will have the opportunity to view plans for a proposed primary school, set to be built on land off Matthew Telford Park in Scartho.

The school, set to be run by Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust, will provide places for some 210 children aged 4 to 11. The new school will also have provision for up to 12 pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, dependent upon need.

The event will be hosted by officers from North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, Equans, who have worked in partnership on the project.

The session will offer local residents a chance to look at the proposed school plans in more detail, leave comments and talk to officers.

The plans for the new school are set to go through the formal planning application process soon, seeking permission to begin construction around summer/autumn 2023.

The event is open to local residents and will be held on Wednesday 12 July 2023 from 2pm to 7pm at Scartho Community Hub, St Giles Avenue, Scartho, DN33 2HB.
