The annual Christmas celebrations will begin in Grimsby town centre on Friday 25 November, with a Festive Market, family entertainment and delicious food and drink to enjoy.
The council is looking for experienced event support to co-ordinate, manage and deliver this event. The event support will need to coordinate activity through the town, working with other parties who have existing events set up to make sure that activities are complementary rather than competing.
The aim of the festive activity is to attract footfall to the retail areas in the town centres ahead of the Christmas shopping period, to support businesses, and provide a welcoming environment for people to enjoy the run up to the festive period.
