General

In the early new year, the council is looking to run some events in our town centres, based on the theme of “Love your town”.

Up to three separate events – for Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham town centres – are being scheduled to take place in February to coincide with St Valentine’s Day and the half term school holidays.

The council is looking for event support to co-ordinate, manage and deliver these events as part of the Government’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Welcome Back Fund.

Events could include hands on activities, site dressing, site animation, food and drink events, markets, street theatre, walking events, love themed selfie opportunities, rides and attractions.

The aim of the events is to attract footfall to the retail areas in the town centres and encourage people to love their town, encourage them to shop with local businesses and love themselves through self-care and wellbeing.

If this is something that would interest you, visit the Opportunities page on www.grimsbycreates.co.uk to find out more.

Closing date for tenders is Thursday 6 January 2022.
