We currently have vacancies in a number of locations in North East Lincolnshire for School Crossing Patrols. If you are interested in becoming a School Crossing Patrol Officer please contact the Traffic Team on 01472 313131, selecting option 6.

School crossing patrols

We provide school crossing patrols, or lollipop men and women, to help children, parents and guardians on their journeys to and from school.

The law allows us to provide school crossing patrols but we are not required to provide them. We will only provide a school crossing patrol after we have assessed the area.

To report a problem or incident at one of our school crossings complete the Road safety issues form.

Road safety school visits

If you are interested in a member of our road safety team visiting your school to give an educational talk, then complete the Road safety officer school visit request form.
