ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
ASHBY LANE AND A SECTION OF MAIN ROAD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-098) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:
- AHSBY LANE – from its junction of B1210 ASHBY HILL to its junction with MAIN ROAD
- A section of MAIN ROAD – from its junction with ASHBY LANE to its junction with THOROUGHFARE –
Alternative route for both: B1210 ASHBY HILL, A18 BARTON STREET, THOROUGHFARE, MAIN ROAD
This temporary prohibition is required in order to maintain public safety whilst Norther Power Grid safely undertake works to connect new supply to property developments.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 13 July 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 17 July 2020.
