ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)
PASTURE STREET, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 21-152) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway:
- A section of PASTURE STREET, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with EAST STREET to its junction with ROBINSON STREET EAST, including the PASTURE STREET RAIL LEVEL CROSSING.
Works will be undertaken overnight between 23:30hrs and 05:00hrs. Pedestrian access cannot be maintained on the above sections of highway during this time, on the grounds of safety.
Alternative route for motor vehicles: PASTURE STREET, VICTORIA STREET WEST, TOWN HALL SQUARE, OSBORNE STREET, SOUTH ST MARYS GATE, BETHLEHEM STREET, CHURCH LANE, A1136 FREDERICK WARD WAY, ELLIS WAY, HOLLES STREET, EASTGATE, ROBINSON STREET EAST.
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail. These works are detailed as rail depth inspections.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 24 January 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Tuesday, 25 January 2022. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
